Physics syllabus

A syllabus is not a plan. Sequence it.
Order matters: Class 11 foundations before Class 12 applications in Physics and Chemistry, Biology NCERT in parallel from day one, and the final eight weeks protected for mocks and revision. About the NEET 2027 syllabus
Is this the official NEET 2027 syllabus?
It reflects the rationalised NCERT based syllabus NEET has used since 2024, which 2027 is expected to continue. The official PDF arrives with NTA's information bulletin, usually in January or February of the exam year; always cross check then.
How many chapters are in the NEET 2027 syllabus?
79 chapters across the current Class 11 and 12 NCERT books: 28 in Physics, 19 in Chemistry and 32 in Biology, grouped by NMC into about 20 units per subject group.
Were chapters removed from the NEET syllabus?
Yes. The rationalised base dropped several older chapters that pre-2024 books and question banks still carry. This checklist excludes them, so studying from it means studying nothing the exam left behind.
Which chapters have the highest weightage?
Human physiology, Genetics and Ecology in Biology; Organic chemistry and Coordination compounds in Chemistry; Mechanics, Current electricity, Magnetism and Modern physics in Physics. The syllabus guide on the blog breaks this down further.
